The bride, Mrs. Joanna Gabiran-Hoang is from the Philippines, while the groom, Mr. Vinh Hoang, is from Vietnam. They met at a Costa international cruise ship where they both work and wherein their love story blossomed, and lead to this wedding at San Agustin church, with reception which I hosted at Ilustrado Restaurant in Intramuros Manila.

What’s more interesting here is that the wedding date has been adjusted a few times before they settled for June 12 due to many unforeseen events. Good thing that the Vietnamese parents of the groom, with his best man and girlfriend were able to join this once-in-a-lifetime event in the Philippines.

That also means that when the time for the traditional delivering of speeches came, someone has to translate for the parents of the groom from Vietnamese to English.

Congrats and best wishes to Mr. & Mrs. Vinh & Joanna Hoang!
