I’m happy to have hosted the wedding reception of Mr. & Mrs. Joy & Kae Santiago whose love story blossomed in Dubai, U.A.E.

As a seasoned events host, I always check with events suppliers to make sure we’re on one page with the program details.

This is me checking with the sound system guys before the wedding reception begins.

Despite the many preparations, something always change or may not work well at events. And this was the case last night when the wireless microphone I was using kept on cutting out while I was hosting the newlyweds game.

Because it was an open air venue, I had to exert more effort speaking louder without a mic for a few minutes. Good thing my voice is naturally modulated so I didn’t have a hard time doing it.

The end result was “the show must go on” and the newlyweds with their guests still had so much fun through it all. The program ended with a bang as it was concluded by fireworks display and lusis lighting with family and friends. To God be the glory. 🙂
